MLA 4/5 planned upgrade

I just heard from Ratatosk that MLA Admin had heard our howling in the wilderness, but couldn't upgrade without losing all our content (again).

Apparently the developers have now figured out how to migrate the content into a slick new, fully-functioning Academy site, integrated with Evolver, etc.

On the weekend.  Watch this space!

Wait and see

I'll wait and see. After all Ratatosk is one of us. But I find it beyond arrogance that we never even got one reaction from Admin to our complaints, even for a free forum the least they could have done was write a postcard.

Hoping for the best!

I think having a functional MLA forum would be awesome and the best thing for all Maybes everywhere.

Some changes are definitely afoot

Links to OM work, layout changing, etc.

The Forum itself doesn't display correctly, but I think the migration of all that stuff might take a little longer!

An old signature of mine has suddenly appeared, tagged to new messages!  :-)

Definitely improved MLA Forum

I have to say I tried it today, and it worked pretty smooth.

Pasted a simple URL in and it embedded a YouTube video for me.

I might still quibble with some of the choices - but playing at user-friendly and/or designer and all that I know I often don't have a better idea, really.

Worth a visit, and a little play.

Both/And springs to mind, rather than Either/Or...
