Hi it's Eva Herself / zenpunkist. I figured I should dress up in a new name to fit into an evolved forum format :-)

Thanks Bobby

Love you all :-)

Hey fun times!

I dropped the Magus, Eva, so now find myself entirely Bogus...  :-)

According to a card Borsky handed me in Paris a couple of years back, I may use the honorific title of Oblate of the Eburonic Chapter of 'Pataphysical Research...

I have until now sneered at people who delight in acquiring absurd titles, or even making them up (fun though they seem, I just don't have the imagination), but have decided (maybe) to start collecting some letters after my name, after all. Maybe this could kickstart some Maybe Collab writing...

I think I'll start by claiming (without any visible proof) the title of Master of Bogosity - even though I haven't studied Quantum Bogodynamics up to the third degree level..

Wizard of Oz: They have one thing you haven't got: a diploma. Therefore, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Universitartus Committiartum E Pluribus Unum, I hereby confer upon you the honorary degree of ThD.
Scarecrow: ThD?
Wizard of Oz: That's... Doctor of Thinkology.

You can get yourself a few certificates and such at Appendix Discordia.

I always thought it would be cool to name a baby Doctor instead of hoping he/she would grow up to be one.  It would so piss off his/her teachers :-D

Imaginary reality and realized imagination

borsky here, I don't intend to change my name (although "Jerkoff Jones" sounds tempting). Hope we'll be able to put up avataric pictograms soon, I kinda miss your  mugs.

As for a title, I'm relatively proud of only one: Correspondant Réel du Collège de 'Pataphysique. It means absolutely nothing, just that I once had a smal text published in their magazine - an eulogy of Bob Wilson when he had left the building.

Bobby, there's one cool feature here, that every post can have another title (and by default picks up the first words of the post). I'm all for maximal diversity.

Bless this mess!

Hello Everyone!

Very lovely to see so many critters already roaming the construction site here, though do please bear w/ me as this site is still in quite a bit of flux, though I think most all of the major installations are completed, and the site should now get to enjoy some meta-stability.  (If you tried to visit last night or earlier this evening you may have been turned away by slow processing or arcane MYSQL database jibber jabber, while I was installing some of the custom modules)

I've made it so "Books" and "Pages" can now be edited like a Wiki.

(I'll soon make it so only established MAYBES can edit the "Books" and "Pages", just so Jerkoff Jones can't sign up out of the blue and troll in the stories)

Everyone should also now have blogging capabilities, which are self contained, only editable by yourself. (New blog posts will show up in the sidebar on the right)

Avatars are now enabled.  I'm working on the "catma" thing.

I'll start adding in links to the sidebar, and across the header.

I'll add more forum catagories.

There's all sorts of cool stuff this place can do, please keep making suggestions and requests.  Let me know if you run into any bugs or boogiemen.

I have an idea for the quarterly, more on that soon.

A facebook app looks very possible, but now I've gotten ahead of myself!

Aloha!

 Hi everyone!

Fuzzbuddy here and glad to be here.

I find myself not even being able to load the Maybe Logic site tonight.

Nice one Bobby, I've got a good feeling about this and hope to help out with the Collaborative story this time.

Is there a PM feature you could add in sometime, or maybe I just missed it.

Cool to be able to see who's online apart from anything.

Oops, posted this near the top, do posts appear after the one you reply to then?

the last post

Hello FB, it seems the posts appear below the post one replies to. I think.

Would be better if they appeared threaded IMHO, or maybe it's a profile feature I haven't found yet? Anyway Bobby  this place is all shiny and new, and looks really great.  I feel at home.

A Bit Ass backwards!

Yeah, sorry about the post threading/ordering, the settings changed when I updated the forum, I'll get it all straightened out tomorrow.

So very glad everyone seems to be digging the place so far!  My mind has been in overdrive all week, ideas streaming, I'm very excited!

This seems familiar

I've seen a similar order in a Moodle forum, where the original post remains at the top, and then all the replies stack up beneath it with the most recent at the top.

All good fun, if you enjoy a bit of confusion.

I have linked in on the Collab site, so that you can find Borsky's blog story start from there, too...

It will all sort it self out in the long run...  :-)

Too much fun diving in to worry about it for now - and thanks Bobby, for all the fun so far.

I quite like b.kane's suggestion in the old MLA 4/5 that we have several zones to visit...five in fact, he suggests.

Hey Fuzz Buddy!

I'll see about Private Messages, in the meanwhile the email button underneath everyone's avatars will open up a text entry screen that will send a message the e-mail address they used to register.

and I'll gladly add your avatar to the pantheon of MAYBES' caricatures, stay tooned!

phode here.

Hi folks.

I've mingled amongst the MLA stratosphere since my Deceased Daddy signed me up for RAW's QP course when I was still a young'un.

I don't post much but I've tried my best to visit everyday, each day, for the past several years. I really enjoy lurking about with you peeps and I really hope to continue doing so for a very long time.

So nice to see so many of you here.

Peace!

Wotcha*

*I found out  the word 'wotcha' has a great pedigree - preceeding the arriviste 'Hello' by almost 400 years. Apparently wotcha = what cheer? and has been with us since at least the 14th century.

So, Wotcha folks. I be NonProphet once Philix Rex.

I guess I was most active in MLA V.1 and.2 but a series of blindsiided events has kept me away from regular contributions but now I think I am in the bestest of places so I really hope to get back in the game proper.

We shall see - but I do think this place looks and feels amazing - a faithful reimagining of the original storyline as the people of the Holly Wood would have it.

Good to be back-

nothing but love

Good to see you around again NP!

Ah interesting, when I moved to England from South Africa as a kid used "Watcha" alot, didn't know the meaning, thinking about it later thought maybe it was an 80's thing. Little did I know.

Eris would have loved to join in with a Buckminster-Fullerian mind-universe, and join force with creative blokes and RAW lasagnas like Batty McDougalls (MondoGlobo) project 2012.

There are several sites in it's  pentaculous birth out there, reaching out and fusion Erisian multitudes, and which else but the Fullers Dodecheadron would fit that map. McDougal has created his own "ideographic" model within the project.

Borsky guilted me into joining, and then tempted me with promises of sparring with bogus and darth dufus :D

I fancied a name change too. ;)

Just trying to get back in the swing - feels like it's been a long time since I communicated with this group apart from the occasional facebook comment. Looking for a more intelligent round table. Happy to see all here.
