Social networks and sharing

Not really a topic we're used to discuss here, but I'm researching social networks for my job right now. What seemed to be missing was a filesharing cluster, on the model of torrent. Not anymore.
Isohunt has started Hexagon.cc, a new way of sharing files build on the concept of groups. So people having similar interests can join and share whatever they need to. Game developpers and musicians already seem hooked; but right now it's not even in beta version but only on invite. My bandwith is precious so I won't try it but maybe sombunall here would like to try it out. Sign in to be one of the 500 first to try it out.
I think the future of the internet will consist of websites combining the virtues of facebook, wiki, blog, forum and torrent.

Cool Borsky!
I've felt for a short while now that indexes and the like will have their day. The internet iz just too darned big.
The future has gotta be metadata, putting the information with the information on how it relates to other things.
