Ok here's a few questions I have from The Golden Apple:

1. A description of people from KCUF taking AUM tomato juice..."noting that the lapels of several bore an additional decoration, a square white plastic cross with the letters CL printed across it." Page 366. Do you think this is a typo for GL - God's Lightning? if not what would CL stand for?

2. "The dance went on, the drums pounded monotonously, and Carmel, far away, broke into a sudden perspiration..." Page 435. Where is Carmel here? I think it is the next morning from April 28th (Page 431) So April 29th (Page 435) - But nine hours earlier at the same time...

- April 25th he returns from burying Sherri Brandi in the desert (Page 312)

- April 25th Carmel loots Maldonado's safe (Page 567).

3. Which actor played the character Johnny in the film "Bitter Rice"? Page 463.

4. Where is Otto Waterhouse when this song is in his his head: "Well, here's that ladder now, Come on, let's climb. The first rung is yours, The rest are mine." Page 464. I think he might be at the service entrance of the high rise apartments of 2323 Lake Shore Drive on the morning of April 28th.

5. "When Otto Waterhouse was eight years old..." Page 464. What decade would that be? do we have any idea of his age in the "present"?

6. John Dillinger catches a glimpse of the killer (of JFK) mingled in the crowd below:

"Christ! Him?" Page 516. Who does he see? Harry Coin?

Thanks in advance for any help with these.

Question #6:  I think he sees

Question #6:  I think he sees the guy who kills the last bald eagle.  I forget his name - I don't have a copy of Illuminatus! with me.  I think Bob told me that character killed JFK in the novel.

Oops, Harold Canvera killed JFK in Illuminatus! according to Bob, not Smiling Jim.  My memory does play tricks on me.
