Australia filtering the whole internet - with no vote?

Did my mind just make this up, or how come it doesn't appear in the news?
Australia plans to filter the internet - and anyone against it (they say) is therefore pro-porn, pro-paedophilia, pro-just about anything one guy thinks he can stop by preventing everybody in the country from watching...I can't finish this sentence.
We all know that telepathy (internet) with the whole planet has its problems, but blocking everything doesn't seem the way forward, surely?
