The strangest of places

Old-timers will know that generally I find magic more interesting than magick (although I still perceive a certain amount of crossover in the fuzzy area between).

Anyway, without opening that old can of worms, this amused me.  Although I remain a theoretical student right now (not a performer) I have done quite a lot of collecting and reading of material on what magicians call 'Mentalism' (all the pseudo-psi stuff).

Sounds more like ergot to me...

 This story has broken, but the incident remains 'alleged' of course.

Perhaps massive ODs, or a different derivative, or simply really atrocious set and setting?

People died, people panicked, it sounds like a shambles!

Did nobody just drift down to the river and watch the clouds reflected in the water?
